Activities in the stunning New Forest National Park, famed as an area of outstanding natural beauty, including Walking, Cycling and Horse Riding. Or why not simply relax and escape from the 'hustle and bustle' of every day life in quiet and tranquil surroundings.

For golfing enthusiasts there is a choice of three golf courses within a 5 minute drive. Visitors are welcome at all three courses, which offer golf for all standards of player. The Forest Course is a particular delight, with the unique hazard of the New Forest ponies wondering freely across the course !

For those of you wishing to explore further afield, we are ideally and centrally situated with easy access to the major attractions. These include :

• Lyndhurst which is known as the 'Capital of The New Forest' is 10 minutes away, and boasts a good selection of shops, and restaurants. It is also home to the New Forest Visitor Centre which is well worth a visit.
• Winchester - this beautiful city with its famous Cathedral, and cosmopolitan night life is a short journey away.
• Lymington's Saturday Market and a visit to its harbour is a great day out for all of the family.
• The stunning beaches of The South Cost including Bournemouth which is famed for the cleanliness of its sands, and the quality of its bathing water.
• A fascinating day trip to the Isle of Wight. Wight Link Ferries depart hourly from Lymington. A great day out is to hire a bike from Lyndhurst or Brockenhurst and go by train then ferry - bike loan is available from Wych Green Cottage.
• For families with children Paultons Park is a great day out, with an amazing selection of fun and often 'hair raising' rides to enjoy.
• The beautiful City of Salisbury is only a 20 minute drive away and a 'must see' with its timber framed houses, and the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral a highlight of any trip.
• The ancient monument of Stonehenge, considered to be one of the wonders of the world is also within easy driving distance. Why not combine it with a visit to Salisbury for a perfect day out.
